Role Description As a Founder Intern – Finance & Accounts at Vedanta Mobility, you will work closely with the founding team to support core financial operations in a rapid-paced deep-tech environment. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice management, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations.
You will help prepare financial reports, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and contribute to cash flow tracking and basic financial analysis.
The role includes maintaining organized financial records, supporting compliance and audit readiness, and coordinating with external partners such as accountants, advisors, and vendors. You will also be involved in building finance processes and documentation that can scale with the company’s growth.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting, including bookkeeping, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets and finance tools for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and basic financial analysis.
- Understanding of compliance, documentation, and audit readiness in a startup or corporate finance context.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with founders, team members, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of tasks.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree of MBA in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field; internship or project experience in finance is an advantage.
- Interest in deep-tech, AI-driven platforms, and exposure to startup ecosystems or technology-led businesses is beneficial.
- Its Unpaid for 3 months and converting to Trainee Regular with Stipend.
