Role Overview

Genpact is looking for an experienced Flink Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Apache Flink, Kafka, Python, and Databricks to join the data engineering team. The role requires a robust individual contributor who can also collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Flink.
- Build and optimize streaming solutions using Kafka.
- Develop data engineering solutions using Python and Databricks.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with architects,



developers, and business teams to deliver data solutions.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering applications.
- Follow best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and production support.

Mandatory Skills
- 6+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink – Mandatory
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with Databricks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working as an individual contributor and team player

Good to Have
- Experience with Java
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in large-scale real-time/streaming data environments
