- Responsible for Design and Development of Firmware development and control strategy in development of Three-phase, single phase grid-tie inverters, hybrid inverters and Charge controllers.
- Experience in Developing Embedded firmware for Power electronics products like Inverters, Charge Controllers, Grid Tie Inverters etc... .
- Experience to develop innovative Control algorithms for Power Electronics Products.
- Knowledge on various battery technologies, Analog and Digital Design.
- Responsible for circuit design and modeling through a combination of computer simulation, laboratory implementation/testing and troubleshooting to meet functional specifications.
- Programming Experiece in C for 32bit Controllers/ DSP's.
- Define, analyze and measure control performance parameters (e.g.: stability, response time etc..) as applied to power electronics.
- Good Experience in Power Control system firmware Development like PFC, Chargers, Solar Inverters, etc..
- To work closely with Compliance team for implementing Grid and safety codes of various countries.
- FPGA/CPLD programming and Logic Simulation skills are preferable.
- Demonstrated ability with Development tools (IAR/KEIL/GNU tool chain/STVD etc..) including Emulators and version control software like SVN etc..
- Should be able to handle large design projects independently from concept to Release to sales.
- Hands on Experience on Dynamic FW debugging at multi tasked setting.
- Signal Capature and Analysis on multiple HW boards
- Implementaton experience in Industrial Field Bus communication protocols like MODBUS/ CAN/ RS485 etc..
- Programming experience in Scripting languages like Python/ LUA
- Exposure to Agile Development methodoligies / Scrum work flow
Qualifications
- BE or Masters or Phd. in Power Electronics Engineering from reputed institution. ( Preferabally from IIT or NIT's)
- 6 to 10 years related industry experience in Designing, development of power electronics hardware and Digital control system for medium power Solar Inverters..
- Should have worked and have depth knowledge of various modulation control schemes for multi level inverter topologies and Grid connected / Hybrid inverters.
- Should have worked on soft switching techniques utilizing ZVS and ZCS and multilevel inverters.
- Problem solving skills in EMI and EMC as applied to high power electronics product.
- Experience with signal processing and digital control algorithm implementation using micro-controllers or DSPs.
- Experience with hardware for analog, mixed, and power electronic circuit design including microcontrollers, DSPs and FPGAs is a plus.
- Experience in Simulation of converter and closed loop controls using Matlab/Simulink,
- Good Knowledge of MathCAD, PSPICE and PSIM.
- Be able to evaluate, specify, implement, validate and troubleshoot power components: IGBTs, MOSFETs and gate drive circuits, high power capacitors, chokes/inductors, transformers etc.
- Ability to lead a team engineers and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
