Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Director to oversee the company’s financial activities and provide financial guidance to senior management.

This is a full-time remote position for a candidate based in the United States. The Financial Director will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning. The role will work closely with leadership and other business functions to monitor financial performance and support important business decisions.

Key responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and management reports, monitoring liquidity and financial risks, maintaining effective internal controls, and ensuring finance activities are handled in accordance with applicable requirements. The Financial Director will also work with auditors, financial institutions,



external advisors, and internal teams when needed.

The role will also provide leadership to the finance function, support process improvements, and help strengthen financial systems and reporting practices as the organization continues to grow.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in finance, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, management reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience with cash flow management, treasury, financial controls, and risk management.
- Ability to analyze financial information and provide clear, practical recommendations to senior leadership.
- Experience in financial services, investment management, banking, or a related industry is preferred.
- Positive understanding of accounting standards, tax matters, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices.
- Experience working with financial systems, ERP platforms, Excel, and other financial reporting tools.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with finance professionals and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA, CFA, or another relevant professional qualification is a plus.
