Role Description The Field Services Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vasai. This role is responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining machine tools and related equipment at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing on-site troubleshooting, and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.

The Field Services

Engineer will provide technical support, train operators on proper use and care of equipment, and document service activities and reports.



The role also involves collaborating with internal engineering teams to escalate complex issues and delivering professional, customer-focused service that supports long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

- Field service experience with industrial machinery or machine tools, including on-site installation and commissioning.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, or control-system issues.
- Hands-on technical support capabilities, including reading technical drawings and using measurement and test equipment.
- Experience in preventive maintenance planning and execution to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Customer service skills, including clear communication, professional demeanor, and ability to manage expectations on-site.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to work independently in field environments, manage travel schedules, and prioritize multiple service calls.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office and digital reporting tools; familiarity with CAD or CNC controls is an advantage.
- Commitment to safety practices and adherence to company and customer site safety standards.
