We are looking for a Field Sales & Accounts Executive who can help us develop relationships with contractors, builders, architects, engineers and construction-site teams while also handling day-to-day accounting entries in Tally. The role will be divided between field visits in the first half of the day and Tally/accounts work in the second half.

Key Responsibilities

Morning — Field Sales & Customer Development Visit construction sites, contractors, builders, carpenters, architects and other potential customers in and around Sambalpur.

Introduce Janki Hardware & Plywood and explain our products and services.

Understand what materials are currently being used or may be required at the site.

Share our product range, pricing advantages, discounts and services.

Collect contact details of contractors, builders, site engineers and other relevant decision-makers.

Give customers our shop's contact details and encourage them to contact us whenever they require materials.

Build and maintain valuable relationships with potential customers.

Follow up with contacts generated during site visits.

Identify upcoming construction projects and potential material requirements.

Generate enquiries and sales leads for the shop.

Maintain a daily record of site visits, contacts collected, enquiries and follow-ups.

Afternoon —

Tally & Accounts Enter daily purchase and sales transactions in Tally.

Record purchase invoices and sales invoices.

Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.

Enter receipts and payments.

Maintain basic accounts and outstanding balances.

Perform bank/cash entries and reconciliation as required.





Maintain proper documentation of invoices and accounting records.

Keep Tally records updated on a daily basis.

Coordinate with the owner regarding pending payments, purchases and sales. Assist with GST-related accounting data and reports.

Requirements

10th / 12th pass or above. Basic computer knowledge. Tally knowledge is preferred, but candidates with basic computer skills and willingness to learn may also apply. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable travelling to construction sites every day. Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred. Should be comfortable speaking with contractors, builders, engineers and other customers. Honest, disciplined and responsible.

Willing to actively approach new customers rather than waiting for customers to come to the shop.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in hardware, plywood, building materials, paints, sanitary, electrical, construction materials or other B2B sales will be preferred. Candidates who have previously worked as a sales executive, field executive, collection executive, accountant, Tally operator or counter salesperson are also encouraged to apply.
