Job SummaryWe are looking for a creative and commercially minded Fashion Designer who can develop new apparel collections from concept to production. The ideal candidate should understand current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, silhouettes, fits, and garment construction, with the ability to translate ideas into commercially successful products.

Key Responsibilities

- Research current fashion, activewear, lifestyle, and consumer trends.
- Develop recent styles, collections, colorways, prints, and design concepts.
- Create mood boards, design boards, sketches, and technical design details.
- Develop designs suitable for Coitonic’s target customers and brand identity.
- Work closely with the Product Development, Production, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams.
- Select appropriate fabrics, trims, colors, prints, and accessories.
- Prepare and maintain Tech Packs, BOMs, measurement charts, and garment specifications.
- Coordinate with sampling teams and review samples for fit, construction, styling, and finishing.
- Make corrections and modifications based on sample reviews.
- Conduct fit and garment evaluations and ensure designs are production-ready.
- Work with vendors and manufacturers to resolve design and sampling issues.
- Monitor competitor products and identify new market opportunities.
- Ensure designs meet commercial requirements, target costing,



quality standards, and production feasibility.
- Maintain seasonal design calendars and ensure timely completion of collections.
- Support the development of new categories and product lines.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of fashion design and apparel development.
- Good understanding of fabrics, garment construction, trims, prints, and embellishments.
- Knowledge of activewear, sportswear, athleisure, or casualwear will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of fit, measurements, and garment specifications.
- Ability to create professional fashion sketches and technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop or similar design software.
- Good knowledge of Tech Pack preparation.
- Strong trend research and market analysis skills.
- Creative thinking with a strong commercial approach.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple designs and deadlines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in fashion/apparel designing.
- Candidates with experience in D2C, activewear, sportswear, athleisure, or e-commerce fashion brands will be preferred.
