Company Description: Dreamzone School of Creative Studies, an initiative of CADD Centre, specialises in training learners in creative disciplines such as fashion design, graphics, animation, VFX, and interior and architectural design. Since 2005, the school has nurtured aspiring designers and expanded to over 200 centres across India. DreamZone emphasises quality education through experiential, hands-on learning rather than purely theoretical approaches.

Role Description: The Fashion Design Faculty will deliver classroom and studio-based instruction to students in fashion design, including fundamentals of design, pattern making, garment construction, textiles, and fashion illustration.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching course content, supervising practical assignments, guiding student projects and portfolios, and assessing student performance through evaluations and reviews. The faculty member will organise and support workshops, seminars, and industry-oriented activities, and mentor students on trends,



career paths, and professional development. Additional duties include maintaining academic records, contributing to curriculum improvement, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching standards.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

- Strong fashion design skills, including garment construction, pattern making, draping, and fashion illustration.
- Knowledge of textiles, fabric selection, fashion trends, and industry practices.
- Experience in classroom teaching, student mentoring, and practical workshop facilitation.
- Ability to design curricula, prepare lesson plans, and evaluate student work effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant design tools or software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and CLO 3D for fashion) is an advantage.
- Professional experience in fashion design or related creative industries is preferred.
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a closely related field from a recognised institution.
- Commitment to experiential learning and a student-centred teaching approach.
