Role Description The Fabric Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur.

The Fabric

Manager will oversee fabric sourcing, procurement, and inventory management to ensure timely availability of materials for production.

Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, negotiating pricing and delivery terms, and maintaining fabric quality standards in line with buyer requirements. The role involves monitoring fabric testing and quality control, resolving fabric-related issues on the production floor, and collaborating closely with merchandising, design, and production teams.

The Fabric

Manager will also lead and guide the fabric team, ensure accurate documentation, and support continuous improvement in fabric utilization and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong fabric and Textiles knowledge,



including fiber types, constructions, finishes, and performance characteristics.
- Experience in Quality Control for fabrics, including testing, inspection, and adherence to buyer and international standards.
- Proficiency in Procurement and supplier management, including vendor development, cost analysis, and timely material sourcing.
- Effective Negotiation skills for pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms with domestic and international suppliers.
- Proven Team Management abilities, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Prior experience in apparel manufacturing or export houses, preferably in women’s, men’s, or children’s wear.
- Solid analytical, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Good communication skills in English; ability to coordinate with global buyers and local vendors.
- Comfort with using ERP or fabric management systems and basic MS Office tools.
- Degree or diploma in Textiles, Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or a related field is preferred.
