Role Description:

The Estimation Engineer role at IPCE is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore.

The Estimation

Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed project estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for electrical and related civil works, ensuring accuracy and alignment with technical specifications and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and tender documents, conducting cost analysis, coordinating with design, procurement, and sales teams, and supporting negotiations with clients and vendors.



The role also involves researching market rates, maintaining estimation databases, and contributing to competitive bids and proposals.

The Estimation

Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers and engineering teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant project delivery.

Qualifications:

- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation for electrical and associated civil works.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for dealing with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess research skills to analyze market rates, materials, and industry trends to support accurate cost estimates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Experience in industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably involving switchboards or power distribution systems.
- Proficiency in estimation software, MS Excel, and other relevant digital tools.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively in office.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages as needed.
