Manager - ERP
Position Summary The Manager - ERP will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, optimization, and support of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role will play a critical part in driving the Greenfield ERP implementation project, ensuring alignment of business processes with system capabilities across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, quality, and other business functions.
Candidates with prior experience in Epicor / SAP ERP implementation, administration, or support within a manufacturing environment will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Greenfield ERP Implementation
- Lead the end-to-end ERP implementation project from requirements gathering through go-live and post-implementation stabilization.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define future-state business processes and ERP requirements.
- Develop and manage project plans, implementation schedules, milestones, risks, and budgets.
- Coordinate with ERP vendors, implementation partners, consultants, and internal teams.
- Ensure successful configuration, testing, data migration, and deployment of ERP modules.
- Establish ERP governance, policies, standards, and best practices.
Business Process Transformation
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements through ERP-enabled automation.
- Drive standardization and optimization of processes across Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Sales functions.
- Lead process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design workshops.
- Ensure ERP solutions support organizational growth and operational excellence objectives.
ERP System Management
- Manage ERP system performance, availability, security, and ongoing enhancements.
- Oversee ERP upgrades, patches, integrations, and change management activities.
- Ensure data integrity, master data governance, and reporting accuracy.
- Monitor system issues and coordinate timely resolution with internal teams and vendors.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business users, management, IT teams, and implementation partners.
- Build and lead ERP support and competency teams.
- Conduct user training programs and drive user adoption initiatives.
- Provide regular project status updates and executive-level presentations.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop ERP-based dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support business decision-making.
- Ensure effective utilization of ERP data for operational and strategic insights.
- Collaborate with business teams to improve visibility across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure ERP processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and audit requirements.
- Implement appropriate controls, security roles, and authorization matrices.
- Support internal and external audits related to ERP systems and data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 4-8 years of experience in ERP implementation, management, or business systems roles.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience leading ERP projects in manufacturing organizations.
- Experience managing Greenfield ERP implementation projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes including:
- Production Planning

- Costing and Finance
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (Kinetic/Epicor ERP 10) or SAP S4 HANA is highly preferred.
- Experience with ERP modules including:

- Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Planning & Scheduling
- Finance & Costing
- CRM/Sales Management
- ERP implementation certifications or project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) will be an advantage.
