Exp- 5-9 years

Qualification- Diploma / BE/ Btech

- Developing, setting, and maintaining crimp applicators (dies) for wiring harness production
- Performing preventive and breakdown maintenance of applicators to ensure uptime
- Setting up applicators on Komax machines / Mecal Presses and ensuring correct configuration
- Controlling and optimizing crimp parameters (crimp height, insulation crimp, bell mouth, cutoff tab)
- Conducting crimp validation tests (pull force, cross-section analysis, visual inspection
- Troubleshooting crimping defects (high/low crimp height, wire damage, burrs, misalignment, terminal twist, terminal bend, lance damage, high/low core, flash, crimp cross section report failure)
- Performing root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
- Monitor KPIs driven by company objectives
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
- Improving OEE, productivity, and reducing scrap & rework
- Managing tool room activities, including applicator inventory and spare parts
- Maintaining setup sheets, maintenance records, and process documentation




- Maintain DIE history cards, drawings, and required SOPs revision as per recent requirements such as CSR
- Update maintenance records and checklists
- Coordinate with production, maintenance teams, and external vendors, Supervise contractors during maintenance and installation activities, Ensure quality and timely completion of work
- Maintain and service crimping dies, applicators, and tooling used in wiring harness production
- Knowledge of crimping technology, standards and applicators or dies spares management with System implementation in DIE center
