Experienced C/C++ Linux Engineer with strong expertise in OpenWrt, networking, and 5G technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, debugging, and optimizing software for embedded Linux and next-generation networking/telecom platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain software components using C/C++ on Linux platforms.
- Develop and customize solutions on OpenWrt-based embedded Linux platforms.
- Work on 5G/telecom networking software and related system components.
- Develop and debug networking protocols, services, and applications.
- Work closely with system, hardware, QA, and architecture teams for feature development and integration.
- Perform system-level debugging, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Analyze issues across application, OS, networking, and hardware interfaces.
- Participate in software design, code reviews, integration, testing, and release activities.
- Develop and maintain Linux/OpenWrt packages, configurations, and system components.
- Support software bring-up and integration on embedded/networking platforms.

Required Skills:





- 8+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in C/C++.
- Strong experience in Linux application/system programming.
- Hands-on experience with OpenWrt.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6.
- Experience working with 5G/4G or telecom networking technologies.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools such as GDB, Valgrind, tcpdump/Wireshark, etc.
- Good understanding of Linux processes, threads, IPC, sockets, memory management, and system calls.
- Experience with Git and software development/version-control practices.

Valuable to Have :

- Experience with 5G RAN/Core or telecom networking products.
- Strong knowledge of the OpenWrt build system, packages, feeds, UCI, and cross-compilation.
- Experience with Linux kernel/network stack.
- Exposure to Yocto/Buildroot or other embedded Linux platforms.
- Experience with Wi-Fi, routing, switching, firewall, NAT, QoS, or network security.
- Scripting experience with Python/Shell.
- Exposure to CI/CD, Jenkins, automated testing, or Agile development.
