Minimum Qualification Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety (PGDIS)
To lead and manage the organization's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, protected operations, environmental sustainability, risk reduction, and continuous improvement across electronics manufacturing and associated operations.
1. EHS Strategy & Leadership
- Adhere to prevailing EHS policies, procedures, and annual improvement plans.
- Build a proactive safety culture across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and support functions.
- Establish EHS KPIs and monitor performance.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental and occupational safety regulations.
- Liaise with statutory authorities for inspections, audits, approvals, and reporting.
- Maintain required permits, licenses, and records.
- Occupational Health & Safety
- Lead hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA).
- Drive implementation of safety controls and permit-to-work systems.
- Manage incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Oversee contractor safety and visitor safety management.
