Sri Sakthi Cinemas – EDP Executive JD

Main role: This is primarily an IT + Cinema Projection/Technical Operations position, not a normal data-entry EDP job.

IT responsibilities

- Install, configure, test and maintain Windows OS, applications, servers and system-management tools.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues.
- Maintain and support network and server infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot applications hosted on Windows Server.
- Monitor system performance.
- Work with routers and firewall configurations.
- Maintain system/software security and backups.
- Maintain computer hardware and track IT assets/inventory.
- Monitor and troubleshoot CCTV systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors/contractors.

Cinema projection responsibilities

- Ensure movies and advertisements play according to schedule.
- Prepare and check cinema screens, including exhaust, cooling, blower and projector lamp.
- Check amplifiers and connections.
- Schedule and play advertisements according to the marketing team's schedule.




- Check the sound rack, amplifiers and Dolby processor.

Qualifications they are looking for
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or IT
- Minimum 1 year IT administration experience
- Good organizational and multitasking ability
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work rotational shifts.
