Role Description The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings and layouts for various packaging machines and systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications. Day-to-day tasks include converting design concepts into technical drawings, updating and revising existing designs based on engineering feedback, and maintaining organized drawing records and documentation. The role involves close collaboration with design,



production, and quality teams to support machine development, customization, and installation.

The Draftsman will also assist in creating bills of materials, checking dimensions, and ensuring that drawings meet industry standards and safety requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vasai, requiring regular coordination with shop-floor and engineering staff.

Qualifications

- Robust proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and technical drawing standards.
- Good understanding of mechanical components, machine assembly, and manufacturing processes for industrial equipment.
- Ability to interpret and translate engineering sketches, specifications, and 3D models into clear 2D drawings.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in measurements, and careful document control for drawing revisions and updates.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design, production, and quality teams on-site.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Draftsmanship, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience as a Draftsman in machinery, packaging equipment, or related industrial sectors is an advantage.
- Familiarity with safety standards and basic knowledge of packaging machinery will be considered beneficial.
