DLP Operations Associate

Role Summary The DLP Operations team is responsible for monitoring, investigating, and managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) incidents across Email, Endpoint, Web, Cloud Applications, USB, Printing, and Network channels. The role supports daily operations, policy administration, exception management, incident response, compliance requirements, and platform optimization to protect organizational and client-sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor DLP alerts and incidents across Web, Email, Endpoint, USB, Print, and Cloud channels.
- Investigate incidents and validate true positives versus false positives.
- Perform initial triage, containment, and escalation based on severity.
- Document investigations and maintain audit-ready records.
- Ensure SLA adherence for incident response and closure activities.
- Manage ServiceNow incidents, requests, changes, and problem tickets.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security Operations, Privacy, Compliance, and Business stakeholders.
- Participate in major incident management and root-cause analysis activities.
- Create, modify, and test DLP policies, dictionaries,



EDM/IDM rules, regex patterns, and classifiers.
- Perform policy tuning activities to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
- Conduct periodic policy validation and effectiveness reviews.
- Process DLP exception requests through approved governance workflows.
- Maintain exception inventories and perform periodic recertification.
- Support risk assessments and compensating control recommendations.

Platform Operations

- Support Forcepoint DLP and Zscaler DLP administration.
- Monitor DLP agent health, console health, policy synchronization, and system availability.
- Support upgrades, migrations, and change implementation activities.
- Perform operational health checks and compliance validation.

Required Skills

- Robust understanding of Data Loss Prevention concepts and controls.

- Experience with

- Zscaler DLP
- Forcepoint DLP
