Description We are seeking a strategic, experienced people leader to serve as Director, Instructors for the APAC region. In this role, you will set the vision and strategy for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Workshop delivery across APAC, building and leading a high-performing organization that includes both Instructor Managers and senior individual-contributor Instructors reporting directly to you.

You'll ensure our regional Instructor bench is best-in-class — enabling customers across APAC to unlock value from the Salesforce platform at scale.

Responsibilities

- Own the overall strategy, health, and performance of the Instructor organization across APAC, including workforce planning, capacity/bench strategy, and regional business targets
- Lead and develop a mixed team of direct reports — Instructor Managers leading their own teams, as well as senior individual-contributor Instructors — flexing leadership style to coach managers on managing while also directly coaching senior ICs on delivery excellence and career growth
- Set and drive regional goals for CSAT, utilization, quality, and productivity; report on regional performance, forecasts, and risk to senior/global leadership
- Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Customer Success, Content, Product, Regional GM/leadership) to align delivery capacity with regional demand and business priorities
- Drive scalable, consistent operating rhythms and best practices across APAC — standardizing scheduling,



ramp/skilling programs, and quality frameworks regionally, for both managed teams and direct IC reports
- Champion audience engagement and delivery innovation strategy across the region, embedding it through managers and directly with senior ICs
- Own APAC talent strategy: hiring, succession planning, career pathing (including growth paths from senior IC into management), and building a strong leadership bench
- Represent APAC Instructor org in global leadership forums, contributing to global strategy, standards, and cross-region initiatives
- Foster a regional culture of psychological safety, feedback, and inclusion across a distributed team of managers and senior ICs

Experience And Desired Skills

- BA/BS Degree (or equivalent)
- 7+ years of people leadership experience, including experience leading both managers and senior individual contributors across a distributed or multi-country region
- Proven track record setting organizational strategy and driving results through a mix of management layers and high-performing ICs
- Strong background in Education/Technical Instruction, ideally with experience scaling training delivery organizations
- Experience with regional workforce planning, budget/forecasting, and business metrics ownership
- Executive-level communication, presentation, and influencing skills — comfortable presenting to senior/global leadership
- Experience operating across APAC markets/cultures and timezones
- Solid AI fluency — comfortable evaluating and adopting AI tools to improve training delivery and team productivity, and able to coach others on practical AI use in their work
- Deep knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem preferred
