Hirely is recruiting on behalf of a hiring partner for a remote DevOps Engineer opportunity supporting a customer project focused on scalable cloud infrastructure and AI training. Contributors will use their DevOps expertise to create realistic infrastructure tasks, develop reference solutions, and evaluate AI-generated implementations.

What You’ll Do:

- Design production-style DevOps tasks covering CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and incident response.
- Build working reference solutions with clear setup and validation steps.
- Review AI-generated DevOps solutions and identify technical failures, bugs, and reliability issues.
- Provide precise corrections and structured technical feedback.
- Maintain high standards for correctness, reproducibility, and production readiness.

Who We’re Looking For:

- 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, Bash, or TypeScript .
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, GCP, or Azure .
- Robust Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation .
- Advanced Linux and Git knowledge.




- Strong written and spoken English.
- Availability of 20+ hours per week .

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry .
- Background in security, secrets management, or platform reliability.
- Open-source contributions or technical writing experience.
- Previous AI training or model evaluation experience.

Compensation & Time Commitment:

- $50-$100 per hour
- Remote contractor opportunity.
- 20+ hours per week
- Work on real-world DevOps and AI training projects.
