Role Description The Designing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot, responsible for developing and improving medical device components and systems from concept through production. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing detailed design drawings, using CAD tools for modeling and drafting, and collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure functional and safe product designs. The role involves analyzing requirements, selecting appropriate materials, performing basic design calculations, and supporting prototyping, testing, and design validation.

The Designing





Engineer will work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to address design issues, implement design changes, and maintain documentation according to regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

- Strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills to develop and refine medical device concepts and components.
- Solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge for structural integrity, material selection, and mechanical performance.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling, including assembly and detail drawings.
- Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to integrating mechanical and electrical systems in medical devices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare/medical device domain.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and competency in using standard office and engineering software tools.
