We are looking for an experienced Men’s Shirt Designer with strong expertise in fashion design, garment construction, pattern making, and product development for domestic brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct concept and design research for upcoming seasons.
- Develop creative concepts, sampling briefs, and detailed tech packs.
- Design labels, trims, graphics, and other product details.
- Coordinate product sampling and follow up with vendors/production teams.
- Prepare design tech packs and provide design support for timely production handovers.
- Conduct market visits and competitor/brand studies to identify current trends.
- Monitor sell-through and market response to improve product designs.
- Work on fit changes and modifications based on market requirements.
- Collaborate with production and other teams to ensure design execution as per requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in Fashion Design, preferably from NIFT / Pearl Academy.
- 7–8 years of experience in men’s apparel/shirt designing with a domestic brand.
- Strong experience in Men’s Shirts and garment construction.
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW and other relevant design software.
- Good knowledge of pattern making and garment construction.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, fabrics, trims, and fit.
- Good communication and team-working skills.
Additional Skills
- Graphic design skills will be an added advantage.
