Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the design development of retail and turnkey interior projects from concept to execution, ensuring design intent, functionality, budget, and timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design Development:

o Lead design solutions for retail outlets, showrooms, and commercial turnkey projects.

o Interpret client briefs and translate them into cutting-edge, workable design concepts.

o Prepare and review technical drawings, BOQs, GFCs, and 3D visualizations.

● Project Coordination:

o Coordinate with project managers, clients, vendors, and site teams to ensure design execution aligns with approved drawings.

o Ensure that all design documentation is completed and approved on time.

● Quality & Compliance:

o Ensure adherence to safety standards, material specifications,



and industry best practices.

o Perform site visits to assess design implementation quality and resolve issues in real-time.

● Team Leadership:

o Mentor junior designers and drafters; review and provide feedback on their work.

o Allocate tasks and monitor workload within the design team.

Requirements:

● Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical engineering, Interior Design, or related field.

● Experience: 3-4 years of hands-on experience in interior design and execution, with strong exposure to retail formats and turnkey project delivery.

● Technical Skills:

o Proficient in Solidworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other technical software will be cherry on top.

o Strong knowledge of materials, construction techniques, services integration (MEP), and modular furniture systems.

● Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

o Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

o Creative problem-solving and leadership capabilities.

Preferred:

● Experience with premium/luxury retail brands or corporate interiors.

● Familiarity with vendor management and value engineering practices.
