Deputy Manager - Production (Paint Shop) Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Monitor the production schedule according to set targets Ensure achievement of measures of Performance (MOP) targets using PDCA approach Identify ways to control cost and increase the efficiency of Paint shop production Monitor and improve BWT (Body Work Team) performance with respect to PQCDSM Anticipate concerns in PT, CED, underbody spray, sealer line, sanding, primer, base coat, top coat , oven, spot repair & wax line and take proactive measures to achieve quick stabilization Drive QCRT forums for concern analysis Ensure safety on the shop floor and take part in safety related internal/external audits Conduct JH & Maintain 3S as per standards Tools & equipment Management Understanding of ED/Paint defects and Troubleshooting Maintain OLE (Overall Line Effectiveness) records,



restore minor stoppages & breakdown quickly by taking ICA (Immediate Corrective Action) and PCA (Permanent Corrective Action) to minimize/eliminate recurrence Coordinate and provide supporting hand to customers (Internal and External) Shop Floor Management Manpower deployment & scheduling Spare part procurement Preferred Industries Manufacturing Automobile Education Qualification Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Diploma in Surface coating technology / B.Tech in Paint technology General Experience 3-8 Years Critical Experience System Generated Core Skills System Generated Secondary Skills Experience Level Mid Level
