Overview A Machine Operator will have experience operating and maintaining machinery, a strong understanding of production processes, and a commitment to safety and quality. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines to ensure productive and accurate production of products.

Schedule

6am-4:30 pm

4 day work week

10 hour shifts

Rotating days off (Monday-Friday) operation

Pay

$19-$25/hour/bi weekly pay

Machine Operator Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate machines according to specifications and instructions.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and report any defects or issues with the machinery or products.
- Perform daily routine quality checks.
- Report any machine malfunctions and issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machines.
- Ensure that all safety devices and guards are in place and functioning correctly.
- Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to a workplace safety culture.
- Maintain accurate records of production quantities.




- Communicate any production issues or concerns to supervisors and management.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety instructions.
- Assist in training new machine operators.
- Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
- Keep equipment clean and maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Machine Operator Qualifications

- Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy (25lbs +) materials.
