Role Overview :

We are looking for a Data Engineer 2 with 5 - 8 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, GCP, SQL, and data engineering fundamentals, along with strong problem-solving and DSA skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions.
- Develop clean, efficient, and production-ready code using Python.
- Build and manage cloud-based data solutions using GCP services.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for reliable and efficient data processing.
- Work with services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Apply strong Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Work with SQL and relational databases for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.




- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to data engineering best practices, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills &

Experience :

- 58 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python.
- Strong understanding of DSA and problem-solving.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Valuable understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and distributed data processing.
- Experience with one or more GCP data services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, or Composer.
- Solid SQL and database knowledge.
- Understanding of cloud-native and distributed data architectures.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
