About The Role

GyanSys Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / Consultant to join our expanding Data & Analytics practice. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data solutions across modern cloud platforms. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building robust data pipelines, optimizing data architectures, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities for our clients.

Based in Bengaluru, Pune, or Hyderabad, the role offers an exciting chance to work on innovative projects that leverage the latest technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Engineering, Databricks, PySpark, and more. Immediate joiners are preferred, and the position is full-time, offering a dynamic environment geared towards professional growth and impactful contributions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of four years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles is required.

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate,



or Databricks Certified Data Engineer are highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of data architecture principles, cloud platforms, and modern data management practices.

Experience working with enterprise systems like SAP, ERP, or SaaS applications will be an added advantage. The candidate must exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for enterprise data platforms, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance standards are met.
- Create data engineering solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python to process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
- Build and optimize data pipelines for various data types, integrating data from sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, APIs, cloud storage, ERP systems, and SaaS applications.
- Implement modern data architectures including Medallion Architecture, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse solutions to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Develop and optimize Databricks notebooks, Spark jobs, Delta Lake pipelines, and Databricks workflows to enhance performance and scalability.
- Design efficient data models, data lakes, and data warehouses aligned with business requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including solution architects, data scientists, business analysts, and BI teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.




- Implement data governance, security, monitoring, and validation practices to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and related tools to streamline deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement performance improvements to ensure system stability and efficiency.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing initiatives to foster continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and technical expertise to build a high-performing team environment.
