Role Overview

We are looking for a Data & AI Architect to design and stand up a secure workplace for the examination of historical records, and to build the analytics and AI capability that sits on top of it. The role centres on two things above all: architecture design and orchestration. The successful candidate will take a design from concept through to a working, production-grade pipeline, while ensuring data handling remains fully compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Scope of Work

- Establish the secure environment in which historical records will be examined.
- Map the source systems, and assess data quality, coverage and gaps.
- Design the architecture for the analytics and artificial intelligence layer.
- Build and orchestrate the pipelines that prepare data for analysis.
- Provide for masking and access control consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Experience & Skills





- Five to seven years in data or solution architecture, with a record of carrying designs through to working systems.
- Strong in architecture design and in orchestration — these are the two central requirements of the role.
- Delivery experience with large transactional systems; familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms is an advantage.
- Prior work in government, banking, or another regulated setting where data remains within controlled infrastructure.
- Able to work alongside senior officers, and to explain a technical design in plain, non-technical terms.

- Agreed measures of success for the pilot phase.
