Role Description The Data Architect role is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru South.

The Data

Architect will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures across cloud and on-premise environments. Day-to-day activities include defining data models, integrating data from multiple sources, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance standards are met. The role involves collaborating closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions that support AI, analytics,



and application modernization initiatives.

The Data

Architect will also evaluate new tools and technologies, establish best practices, and provide technical guidance to development and data engineering teams.

Qualifications

- Strong data architecture and modeling skills, including experience with relational, NoSQL, and distributed data systems.
- Hands-on expertise with modern data platforms and tools (e.g., cloud data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT frameworks, streaming data technologies).
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming or scripting language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python or Scala).
- Knowledge of data governance, data security, metadata management, and compliance best practices.
- Experience working with cloud providers (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and designing cloud-native data solutions.
- Background in supporting analytics, BI, machine learning, or AI use cases through well-structured data architectures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and document architectures and standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience as a Data Architect, Senior Data Engineer, or similar role in enterprise or large-scale environments.
