About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in MS SQL, Healthcare Data Modeling & Integration, and Statistics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure, implementing monitoring systems for automated health checks, and developing continuous integration pipelines. Your expertise will support our analytics initiatives, help optimize healthcare data workflows, and enhance data-driven decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of US healthcare datasets, data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and MySQL, and a proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with US healthcare datasets, including benefits, claims, and eligibility data, is essential. Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large healthcare datasets is required, along with familiarity with modern data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and MySQL.
Experience in creating healthcare process and data flow documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio or equivalent is highly desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills, complemented by excellent communication abilities to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst specializing in Healthcare, your primary responsibilities will include analyzing large-scale US healthcare datasets, such as claims, provider, utilization, and quality data, to generate comprehensive reports and insights. You will write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from relational databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Supporting data validation, reconciliation, and transformation processes will be crucial to meet business and regulatory reporting requirements.
You will collaborate with data engineering teams to support the reliable ingestion and integration of data from various source systems, including claims processing and provider systems.
Your role will involve supporting analytics initiatives related to value-based care, population health, quality improvement, and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will create process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visuals using tools such as Microsoft Visio or draw.io to document healthcare data workflows and support standardization efforts.
Engaging with stakeholders from Healthcare Operations, Finance, Clinical, Quality, and Compliance teams is vital to understand their reporting needs. You will translate complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights, presenting findings, trends,
and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
