Role Description The D365 Finance and Operations Finance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing D365 Finance and Operations modules, with a focus on financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, budgeting, and cash and bank management. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into D365 F&O; solutions, performing system testing, supporting month-end and year-end financial activities, and troubleshooting functional issues.

The specialist collaborates with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to ensure accurate financial data, compliance with policies, and smooth integration with other systems.



The role also involves preparing documentation, providing user training, and contributing to continuous improvement of financial workflows and reporting.

Qualifications

- Strong functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, especially core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, budgeting, cash and bank).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and corporate finance processes, preferably with experience supporting finance teams.
- Skills in requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and documentation for ERP implementations or enhancements.
- Experience with system configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), issue resolution, and end-user support in an ERP environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with finance and technical stakeholders, and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis or reporting tools used alongside D365 F&O.;
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; professional certifications in D365 or finance are a plus.
- Previous experience in an on-site ERP or finance specialist role, and exposure to AI, ML, cloud, or related digital transformation initiatives is beneficial.
