Role Description This full-time, on-site Cyber Security Specialist role is based in Delhi, India.

The Cyber Security

Specialist will monitor, analyze, and respond to security events across networks, applications, cloud environments, and endpoints, collaborating with SOC teams and internal stakeholders. The role involves conducting vulnerability assessments, supporting penetration testing activities, and implementing security controls to reduce risk and strengthen the organization’s security posture.



The specialist will help design and maintain security policies, support incident response and forensic investigations, and prepare explicit documentation and reports for technical and business audiences.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include staying current with emerging threats, industry best practices, and relevant security frameworks to continuously improve security operations and safeguards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including security principles, threat landscapes, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience in Network Security, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and secure network architecture design.
- Practical skills in Application Security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability scanning, and remediation coordination.
- Ability to analyze and respond to cyber incidents, including log analysis, incident triage, root-cause investigation, and containment.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint protection platforms, and cloud security controls (e.g., AWS, Azure, or other major cloud providers).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
