Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Intern role based in Pune City. The intern will support the cybersecurity team in conducting research on vulnerabilities, security frameworks, and emerging threats, and assist in preparing documentation for security assessments and compliance projects. Day-to-day tasks may include collecting and organizing technical data, helping with basic security testing activities under supervision, and contributing to internal knowledge bases and process documentation.

The role also involves coordinating with team members to support client projects,



drafting summaries of findings, and maintaining accurate records of work performed. The intern will gain exposure to real-world cybersecurity engagements, including web application, API, network, and cloud security projects.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerabilities, threat modeling, and basic network and application security.
- Familiarity with common security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to perform structured research, analyze technical information, and summarize findings clearly in written form.
- Basic hands-on experience or coursework in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or secure coding is a plus.
- Comfort with using command-line tools, security utilities, and common operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) for learning and project support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow documented processes and guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team workplace in Pune City and manage time effectively across multiple tasks.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Interest in obtaining industry-recognized certifications (such as OSCP, CEH, or similar) in the future is an advantage.
