Role Description This is a full-time, in office Customer Service Representative role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.

The Customer Service

Representative will handle incoming inquiries across phone, email, chat, and social channels, providing timely, accurate, and courteous support to customers. Daily responsibilities include resolving order and delivery issues, assisting with product information, returns, and exchanges, and documenting interactions in customer service systems. The role involves proactively following up on open cases, monitoring customer feedback, and collaborating with internal teams (such as operations and marketing)



to improve overall service quality. The representative will help maintain CarbonTree’s brand values by delivering a positive, empathetic, and solution-oriented customer experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Support capabilities.
- Candidates should possess skills focused on quality outcomes, such as Customer Satisfaction and Customer Experience.
- Candidates should possess experience working in Customer Service Representative roles or similar customer-centric positions.
- Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening, and a professional, empathetic demeanor.
- Candidates should possess the ability to manage multiple inquiries, use CRM or ticketing tools, and follow structured processes accurately.
- Relevant qualifications such as prior retail, fashion, or e-commerce experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
