Samaarambh works with Corporate CSR partners, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), government institutions and local stakeholders to design and implement projects based on identified community needs.

Our approach combines on-ground implementation with structured project planning, stakeholder coordination, monitoring, documentation and impact reporting.

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a CSR Business Development & Proposal Associate to join our team in New Delhi.

This is a hybrid role combining CSR business development, corporate outreach and proposal/RFP support.

The associate will be responsible for researching potential CSR partners, identifying relevant decision-makers and opportunities, initiating professional conversations with Corporates, PSUs and Foundations, conducting follow-ups and helping generate qualified meetings for CSR partnerships.

The role also involves backend support for converting opportunities into projects, including CSR research, proposal and concept-note development, PowerPoint presentations, RFP/EOI applications, documentation and opportunity tracking.

This is not a telecalling-only role. We are looking for someone who can communicate confidently with prospective partners while also being comfortable working on presentations, proposals, research and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify potential Corporate CSR, PSU, Foundation and institutional partners.




- Identify relevant CSR, ESG, Sustainability, Foundation and Corporate Affairs decision-makers.
- Initiate professional outreach through calls, emails and other appropriate channels.
- Introduce Samaarambh Foundation’s capabilities and project portfolio to prospective partners.
- Conduct structured follow-ups and work towards generating qualified CSR meetings and project discussions.
- Research current CSR RFPs, EOIs, grants and partnership opportunities.
- Understand eligibility criteria, scope of work, submission requirements and deadlines.
- Assist in preparing and customising CSR proposals, concept notes, DPRs and project presentations.
- Create professional PowerPoint presentations and CSR pitch decks.
- Support online and offline RFP/EOI applications and associated documentation.
- Coordinate internally for project data, budgets, impact information, credentials and supporting documents.
- Maintain an organised database/CRM of prospects, meetings, proposals, RFPs and follow-ups.
- Track opportunities from initial identification through proposal submission and subsequent follow-up.
- Support management during CSR meetings, presentations and partner discussions when required.

Qualifications & SkillsWe are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

- Strong verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Confidence in speaking professionally with corporate representatives and decision-makers.




- Strong PowerPoint and presentation-development skills.
- Good written English with the ability to structure information clearly.
- Strong internet research and prospect-mapping capabilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and/or Google Workspace.
- Ability to understand RFPs, EOIs and application requirements.
- Good proposal-writing, documentation and coordination skills.
- Solid follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take ownership.

Preferred Experience1–3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: CSR Business Development | Corporate Partnerships | NGO Fundraising | Proposal Writing | RFP/EOI Management | Business Development | Client Acquisition | Institutional Partnerships | Social/Development Sector

Fresh graduates with exceptional communication, research, writing and PowerPoint skills may also be considered.

Educational backgrounds in Business/Management, Communications, Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy or related disciplines are welcome.

The objective is to identify the right CSR opportunities, build meaningful conversations and help move those opportunities towards viable social-impact projects.
