Digital Deluxe is a Melbourne-based digital marketing agency. We've been running for 11 years, and we're hiring one person to own the CRM and automation layer across our client portfolio.

This isn't a ticket queue. The person we're looking for doesn't just fix what's broken and wait for the next request - they go looking. They notice a platform feature nobody's using yet, spot where AI could take over something still being done by hand, and see the pattern in three separate client problems that points to one fix. If your instinct when a system is running fine is to ask what it could be doing instead, this is the job.

What you'll own

- Pipelines, workflows, triggers, and automations across a portfolio of client accounts
- Tagging, segmentation, lead scoring, and attribution structures that scale across multi-location clients
- Lead capture → qualification → nurture → appointment flows end to end, including missed-call text-back and no-show recovery
- AI chatbots and voice agents for lead qualification and booking — including designing what happens when they fail or misread a lead
- AI agents that run across client CRM instances: audits, monitoring, proactive recommendations. Knowing what the platform API can and can't do, and designing the handoff where it can't
- Diagnosing broken automations and tracking issues, and confirming the fix actually worked — not just that the error went away
- Building once and reusing everywhere: snapshots, templates, and SOPs, so the same problem doesn't get solved three separate times
- Translating technical problems into plain language for account managers and clients

Finding the work, not just doing it

This matters as much to us as the technical bar:

- Actively testing new platform features and AI capabilities,



and working out where they'd make a real difference to a client — before anyone asks
- Bringing recommendations unprompted, not only in response to a reported issue
- Catching problems before the client does, because you've built the monitoring that surfaces them
- Looking at a client's setup and seeing what it could be, not just whether it's currently working

Nobody will be checking behind you on this. That's either the best or the worst part of the role, depending on who you are.

What we're looking for

- Deep, hands-on GoHighLevel experience. This is essential and not negotiable — you can talk snapshots, sub-accounts, custom values, and workflow conditions without reaching for a search bar. Strength in other CRMs is welcome, but it won't substitute for GHL depth here
- You've personally managed dozens of sub-accounts concurrently and know how to prioritise across them by impact, not by whoever shouted loudest
- Genuinely AI-native. Not "I use ChatGPT sometimes" — you build with AI, supervise what it produces, and have a real habit of verifying it before it ships
- Serious attention to detail
- Organised, self-directed, and proactive without being managed
- Clear, easy communication in English on live calls
- Comfortable working Australian business hours
- Ideally you're experienced also with HubSpot
