A Counter Sales Executive handles direct, face-to-face transactions with retail or wholesale customers at a counter. They serve as the primary link between the customer and the product, responsible for driving immediate sales, managing inventory at the counter, and delivering solid customer service.

Job Title: Counter Sales Executive / Retail Sales Associate Reports To: Store Manager / Sales Supervisor Key Responsibilities Direct Sales & Customer Interaction: Greet walk-in customers, understand their requirements, present suitable products, recommend add-ons or upsells, and close sales.

Processing & Billing: Handle cash registers, POS systems, credit card transactions, digital payments, and issue accurate receipts/invoices. Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor counter stock levels, replenish merchandise from the stockroom, display products neatly,



and assist in physical inventory audits.

Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product features, specifications, prices, promotional offers, and return/warranty policies to guide customers accurately.

Issue Resolution: Handle customer inquiries, product returns, exchanges, or complaints calmly and escalate complex issues to senior management when necessary.
