Role Description The Cosmetics Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The individual in this role oversees end-to-end production of Ayurvedic cosmetic products, including planning, organizing, and monitoring manufacturing activities to ensure consistent quality and timely output. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with procurement for raw materials, supervising production staff, maintaining equipment and facilities, and implementing safety and hygiene standards.

The manager will develop and optimize production processes, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards, and collaborate with R&D; and quality assurance teams to support product innovation and improvement. The role also involves maintaining production documentation, tracking KPIs, managing inventory levels,



and working closely with management to meet cost, efficiency, and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in cosmetics or FMCG production management, including planning, scheduling, and supervising manufacturing operations.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy/ Master of Pharmacy/ BSc/Msc
- Knowledge of Ayurvedic formulations, cosmetic ingredients, and basic principles of herbal or natural product manufacturing.
- Experience with quality assurance and quality control processes, including adherence to regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
- Skills in team leadership, staff training, and performance management within a production or factory workplace.
- Ability to optimize processes and workflows, with familiarity in lean manufacturing, cost control, and productivity improvement.
- Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards in cosmetic or pharmaceutical production facilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams such as R&D;, procurement, and sales.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Production Management, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Experience working in India’s regulatory environment for cosmetics or Ayurvedic products is an advantage.
