Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure smooth service. Prepare food as per Kinion Cafe’s recipes, SOPs and presentation standards. Maintain consistency in taste, portion size and plating.

Ensure food preparation is completed on time during peak hours. Manage kitchen inventory, stock levels and daily requirements. Monitor food wastage and control food costs. Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.

Train and supervise kitchen staff. Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials. Coordinate with the café manager for daily requirements and operational issues. Assist in developing and testing recent menu items.

Maintain recipe cards, preparation processes and kitchen SOPs. Check the quality and freshness of incoming ingredients. Ensure minimum wastage through proper preparation and storage. Handle customer feedback related to food quality and take corrective action.

Requirements 2–5 years of relevant kitchen experience.

Experience in café, QSR, restaurant or similar food-service operations.



Good knowledge of Indian, Continental and café-style food preparation. Ability to work efficiently during busy service hours. Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety. Good team-management and communication skills. Ability to follow and implement recipes and SOPs. Cost-conscious approach towards ingredients and wastage. Willingness to take ownership of the kitchen rather than only cooking.

Preferred Experience in a growing café/QSR brand.

Experience with menu development and recipe standardisation. Knowledge of food costing and inventory management. Ability to train junior kitchen staff. Basic understanding of FSSAI and food safety practices.
