About The Rental Community (TRC)

The Rental Community (TRC) is India’s largest invite-only community of rental business owners.

TRC exists to enable rental businesses across India to:

- Connect with fellow rental business owners
- Learn from real, on-ground experiences
- Collaborate on business opportunities
- Share and receive verified rental leads
- Stay protected through scam, fraud, and theft alerts
- TRC also runs The Scam Stories, a content series where rental business owners openly share real incidents of fraud, scams, and defaults they have faced. These stories help other businesses avoid similar risks and are available on TRC’s Instagram and YouTube channels.
- TRC operates with no membership fees, no commissions, and no hidden agenda. It is a long-term ecosystem initiative, not a short-term community experiment.

About the Role

- The Content Creator will be responsible for building TRC’s content presence across social media by creating engaging, informative and relevant content for rental business owners.
- The role involves identifying interesting stories, insights,



people and developments within the TRC ecosystem and turning them into high-quality content.
- This is an end-to-end content role. The candidate will be expected to take ownership of the process from ideation, planning and scripting to recording, editing, publishing and analysing performance.
- The content should not simply promote TRC. It should make rental business owners want to watch, learn, share and participate.

Qualifications

- Strong writing and storytelling abilities, with the capacity to explain technical or complex concepts in simple, engaging language.
- Basic familiarity with digital content formats (social media, blogs, web pages) and an interest in content strategy and brand communication.
- Attention to detail in grammar, structure, and tone, with the ability to revise and improve drafts based on feedback.
- Research skills to gather information from reliable sources and translate insights into accurate, useful content.
- Comfort working on-site in Pune District, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in fintech, identity verification,



or the rental economy in India is an advantage.
- Portfolio or samples of written or visual content (academic, personal, or professional) are beneficial.

Compensation

Fixed monthly salary- 10k
