Company Description Ekal Bharat Media Foundation supports Ekal Bharat Channel, an integrated media initiative of the Ekal Abhiyan movement that showcases its impact across rural and tribal communities in India and Nepal. The channel highlights daily activities and initiatives through engaging content related to values (Sanskar), travel, health, medicine, yoga, and more. It aims to bring inspiring stories from grassroots efforts to a global audience, illustrating how Ekal operates and serves local communities.

The broader Ekal Vidyalaya Movement focuses on social and economic development by providing education through one-teacher schools in remote tribal and rural regions. Applicants will join a mission-driven organization using media to amplify education, community development, and cultural awareness.

Role Description This is a full-time, in office Content Creator role based in Delhi.

The Content

Creator will develop, script, and produce engaging video and digital content in English & Hindi that aligns with Ekal Bharat Channel’s mission and programming themes, including education, culture, health, and community development. Daily responsibilities include researching stories from Ekal Abhiyan initiatives, planning content calendars, coordinating with field teams, capturing or sourcing footage, and preparing content for various digital platforms. The role involves writing copy and captions, adapting content for social media, collaborating with editors and designers,



and ensuring that all material is culturally sensitive and consistent with organizational values.

The Content

Creator will also track content performance and suggest improvements to enhance reach and audience engagement.

Qualifications

- Content creation skills, including scripting, storyboarding, and basic video production for digital platforms.
- Strong writing and editing abilities for social media posts, video descriptions, and short-form narratives.
- Experience with digital media tools such as video editing software, graphic design basics, and content management platforms.
- Ability to conduct research, gather field inputs, and translate complex initiatives into accessible, audience-friendly content.
- Familiarity with social media channels, audience engagement techniques, and analytics for content performance tracking.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with field teams and program staff.
- Demonstrated interest in education, rural development, or social impact work, especially in Indian and Nepali contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, Film, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, travel occasionally to field locations, and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
