Position: Consultant Physiotherapist

Organisation: Rakshaa Occupational Therapy and Child Development Centre

Location: Royapettah, Chennai

Key Responsibilities

Conduct physiotherapy assessments for children and adults with neurological, developmental, orthopaedic and functional difficulties.

Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on assessment findings.

Provide therapeutic interventions to improve gross motor skills, balance, coordination, strength, endurance, posture and mobility.

Work with children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism, developmental coordination difficulties and other neurological conditions.

Provide exercises for gait training, muscle strengthening, stretching, range of motion and functional mobility.

Monitor progress and modify treatment programs according to individual needs.

Educate parents/caregivers regarding home exercise programs and positioning.

Maintain accurate assessment, treatment and progress documentation.





Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Special Educators and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Participate in case discussions and contribute to functional goals and rehabilitation planning.

Preferred Qualifications

BPT / MPT from a recognized institution.

Valid professional registration.

Experience in paediatric and neurological physiotherapy preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with children, parents and a multidisciplinary therapy team.

Candidates with relevant clinical experience will be preferred.

Position: Consultant Physiotherapist

Type: Full time / Part-time / Consultant basis

Experience: Freshers with relevant clinical exposure may apply; experienced candidates preferred.

Pay: ₹250.79 - ₹792.46 per hour
