Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Manager MEP role based in Bengaluru.

The Construction

Manager MEP will oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on project sites, ensuring compliance with design, quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with design teams, contractors, and vendors; reviewing drawings and technical specifications; monitoring work progress against schedules and budgets; and resolving site-level technical issues. The role involves conducting inspections, supervising testing and commissioning activities, maintaining documentation and reports, and supporting construction audits as needed.

Manager MEP will also collaborate closely with project managers and client representatives to ensure timely delivery and smooth integration of MEP systems within overall project objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong MEP construction management skills, including supervision of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works and coordination with civil and finishing activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in project planning and control, such as scheduling, progress monitoring, resource allocation, and basic cost awareness for MEP packages.
- Candidates should possess technical skills in reading and interpreting MEP drawings, specifications, and standards, as well as familiarity with relevant codes and safety regulations.
- Candidates should possess skills in contractor and vendor coordination, including work allocation, quality checks, issue resolution, and communication of site requirements.
- Candidates should possess strong documentation and reporting skills, including recording site activities, preparing daily/weekly reports, and maintaining checklists and inspection records.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills to work with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or a related discipline) from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Prior experience in MEP works within commercial, industrial, or data center projects will be an advantage.
