About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and result-oriented CLAT English Faculty to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language and Reading Comprehension for CLAT, AILET, SLAT, MHCET Law, and other Law Entrance Examinations.
The ideal candidate should have excellent command of English, strong teaching and communication skills, and the ability to simplify concepts and prepare students for competitive examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging online/offline classes for CLAT and other Law Entrance Examinations.
- Teach Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, Verbal Ability, and Critical Reading.
- Train students in:
- Reading Comprehension
- Vocabulary & Word Usage
- Grammar & Sentence Correction
- Para Jumbles
- Inference-Based Questions
- Tone, Theme & Author's Perspective
- Critical Reasoning & Reading
- Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with the latest examination patterns.
- Conduct doubt-solving sessions and provide academic guidance.
- Analyze student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Content Development
- Create high-quality study material, practice questions, DPPs, sectional tests, and mock tests.
- Develop reading passages covering contemporary topics such as law, politics, economics, science, and social issues.
- Review and update academic content according to changing exam trends.
- Collaborate with the academic and content teams for course development.
Student Engagement & Mentoring
- Mentor students and provide effective preparation strategies.
- Conduct performance reviews and motivational sessions.
- Resolve student queries through doubt sessions and discussion platforms.
- Focus on improving students' performance in sectional tests and mock examinations.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Literature, Journalism, Humanities, Law, or a related discipline.
- Candidates from NLUs, reputed universities, or leading coaching institutes will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in CLAT, AILET, CAT Verbal, CUET, IPMAT, SSC, Banking, or similar competitive examinations.
- Freshers with exceptional subject knowledge, communication skills, and teaching aptitude may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of English language, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Robust understanding of CLAT English and Reading Comprehension.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Strong question-setting and content-development skills.
- Comfortable with online teaching tools and digital platforms.
- Strong analytical and student mentoring skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience specifically teaching CLAT/AILET English.
- Experience in creating mock tests and competitive-exam content.
- Strong reading habits and awareness of contemporary issues.
- Experience with YouTube, EdTech platforms, or digital teaching is an added advantage.
