Role Description The Civil & Piping Quantity Surveyor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. The role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil and piping works, verifying quantities from drawings and site measurements, and supporting tendering and estimation activities. The professional will monitor project costs, track variations, and assist in cost planning to ensure work is executed within approved budgets.
Daily tasks include maintaining cost records, preparing periodic cost reports, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site teams, and supporting claims, billing, and certification processes. The role also requires adherence to company standards, safety practices, and alignment with EPC project objectives in Green Hydrogen and renewable energy infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Strong BOQ preparation and quantity take-off skills for civil and piping works, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in cost control and cost management to track project expenditures, manage variations, and support budget adherence.
- Experience in cost planning and cost reporting, including periodic financial updates, forecasting, and supporting management decision-making.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in EPC or industrial projects, preferably in power, process, or energy sectors.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, billing procedures, and claim documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, with strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimation software; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
