Role Description This is a full-time, on-site civil construction role based in Lanka. The team member will oversee and participate in day-to-day construction activities for residential remodeling projects, including site preparation, structural work, and coordination with subcontractors and design partners.

Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, supporting quality control and safety compliance, assisting with inspection readiness, and ensuring work aligns with architectural plans and project specifications.



The role will also involve collaborating with project managers on scheduling and resource allocation, maintaining accurate site documentation, and communicating updates to stakeholders. The position requires a focus on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to Valley Construction’s standards for clarity, quality, and process management.

Qualifications

- Strong civil Construction experience with residential projects and familiarity with high-end remodeling practices.
- Knowledge of Architecture and the ability to interpret drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
- Competence in Budgeting, including supporting cost tracking, resource planning, and productive use of materials.
- Experience with Inspection processes, site quality checks, and adherence to safety and building codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting, scheduling, and basic data management.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Proven ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly jobsite; prior experience in residential remodeling is an advantage.
