- Right Hand to the Director: Serve as the Director's trusted partner – prepare for key decisions with data and analysis, represent the Director in forums, and follow through on decisions to closure across functions.
- Drive Strategic Priorities: Own the Director's top agenda items end-to-end – including the roll-out of the Popular Business System (PBS), operational standardisation and expansion – as structured programs with clear owners, timelines and outcomes.
- Operating Cadence & Reviews: Build and run the business review rhythm – MIS, dashboards, review meetings and action tracking – so the leadership team runs on data and every commitment is followed up.
- Expansion of Outlets: Drive the network growth agenda – support new outlet and new-geography plans from evaluation and business case through to launch, working with internal teams to open every new store at standard.
- Product & Tech: Partner on the technology and product agenda – digital tools, CRM, dashboards and automation that power PBS and the network; translate business needs into requirements and drive adoption across teams.
- Process & Business Excellence: Standardise how the network operates – define and document SOPs, benchmark store performance, identify gaps and drive continuous improvement projects that lift productivity,
quality and customer experience at scale.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Engineering or BBA, with a Master's degree (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Around 7 years of work experience, ideally with exposure to Chief of Staff, strategy, business operations or program management roles.
- Strongly preferred: background in retail, QSR / franchise operations or high-velocity distribution-led businesses (e.g.
Varun
Beverages, FMCG and beverage distribution, organised retail chains) – businesses that run on standardised processes, strong execution and multi-site scale.
- Relevant, hands-on experience across the key responsibility areas – driving priorities to closure, running operating cadences and reviews, outlet expansion and special projects – with a demonstrated track record of results (candidates should be able to showcase specific initiatives delivered).
- Solid analytical rigour, structured thinking and ownership, combined with a hands-on execution and follow-through style.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills; able to work with the C-suite, OEM partners and store teams alike.
- Willing to be based in Bangalore with a 6-day working week and travel across the network as required.
