Role Description The Chromatography Specialist - Technical Sales is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad. This role involves promoting and selling chromatography instruments, accessories, and related laboratory solutions from Akshaya Labtech’s portfolio, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships with laboratory customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product presentations and demonstrations, understanding customer applications and requirements, preparing quotations, and following up on leads to close sales.

The specialist will provide technical support and guidance on chromatography solutions,



coordinate with internal teams and principals for order processing, and ensure timely post-sale support and customer satisfaction. Regular visits to customer sites, participation in seminars or exhibitions, and maintaining accurate sales and activity reports are integral to this role.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales skills, with experience in promoting scientific or laboratory products.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and build long-term relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, including understanding chromatography workflows and troubleshooting basic application issues.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.
- Experience with chromatography systems (e.g., HPLC, GC) or analytical instrumentation, and familiarity with laboratory operations.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time and territory efficiently, and use CRM or reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel within the region and attend industry events, trainings, and customer meetings as required.
