Role Purpose

The Chief Platform Head is responsible for end-to-end delivery of vehicle platforms, ensuring achievement of platform targets related to performance, cost, quality, timing, and launch readiness. The role drives cross-functional alignment, engineering integration, supplier collaboration, manufacturing readiness, and governance to successfully deliver vehicle programs from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and own platform targets in collaboration with Product Planning, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing teams.
- Lead execution and delivery of all platform programs, ensuring achievement of quality, cost, timing, and performance objectives.
- Drive engineering integration and resolve cross-functional trade-offs impacting vehicle performance and program delivery.
- Ensure timely closure of supplier, sourcing, and technical deliverables while supporting strategic vendor decisions.
- Oversee manufacturing readiness, localization, industrialization, and vehicle handover to production.
- Lead governance reviews, risk management, deviation approvals, and escalation resolution.




- Ensure launch readiness through validation completion, quality approvals, and successful program execution.
- Build alignment across engineering, purchase, manufacturing, quality, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Profile
- Proven leadership experience in vehicle platform development, product engineering, or program management.
- Robust understanding of automotive engineering, manufacturing, supplier management, and target-cost delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams and complex vehicle programs.
- Experience managing platform-level decisions, risks, deviations, and launch execution.
