Job Title: Chief Financial Officer – Manufacturing & Plant Operations | CA | 10+ yrs

nnLocation: Remote Factory Site (Local Candidate Preferred)

nEmployment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

nContract Term: Long-Term (Minimum 5-Year Agreement)

nnAbout the Role:

nWe are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in manufacturing finance and cost accounting to join our organization as an Industrial Chartered Accountant. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing the entire financial, accounting, costing, budgeting, and internal audit functions from our factory location. The role demands a proactive finance skilled who can contribute to strategic decisions, financial discipline, and sustainable cost management practices across the organization.

nThe ideal candidate must have an excellent command over ERP software, financial projections, statutory compliance, product-level costing, internal auditing across departments, and finalisation of accounts. Candidates must be from the local region or willing to work full-time from a remote factory location, with a long-term career commitment of a minimum of five years.

nnKey Responsibilities:

nn1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

nnLead the complete financial accounting process and ensure accuracy and integrity of books of accounts.

nFinalisation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements in compliance with Indian GAAP and applicable accounting standards.

nPreparation of timely and insightful MIS reports for management decision-making.

nRegular reconciliation of all ledgers including vendor, customer, inventory, and bank accounts.

nPreparation and submission of reports for audits, internal and statutory.

nn2. Costing & Manufacturing Finance

nEstablish, maintain, and continuously refine the costing systems and structures tailored to manufacturing operations.

nIn-depth analysis of cost of production including raw materials, packaging materials, direct and indirect labor, power, fuel, and overheads.

nImplement product-wise cost sheets, profitability analysis, and cost control mechanisms.

nConduct standard costing vs actual costing reviews and highlight inefficiencies or leakages.

nPartner with the production and procurement departments to drive cost optimization initiatives.

nn3. Budgeting & Financial Planning





nPrepare annual and quarterly budgets in coordination with functional departments.

nAnalyze budget variances and provide commentary to senior management.

nProvide financial projections for expansion plans, working capital needs, and other strategic investments.

nContribute to business planning activities through robust financial models and forecasting techniques.

nn4. Internal Audit & Risk Management

nEstablish a structured and continuous internal audit system covering all critical departments (Production, Stores, Procurement, Sales, HR, etc.).

nIdentify operational and financial risks and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented.

nConduct regular audits to ensure policy compliance, process efficiency, and internal control effectiveness.

nReport audit findings to senior management along with recommendations for improvement.

nn5. ERP & Digital Finance Integration

nAct as finance lead for ERP software implementation and maintenance.

nEnsure that financial and cost data are accurately captured in the ERP system.

nWork with ERP vendors and internal IT teams to streamline financial reporting, inventory control, billing, and budgeting modules.

nDrive digitization of financial processes and promote data-driven decision-making.

nn6. Banking & Financial Institution Liaison

nPrepare CMA reports, business plans, and financial projections required for bank proposals.

nManage working capital facilities, term loans, and credit limits.

nEnsure compliance with bank covenants and timely submission of required documents.

nLiaise with banks and financial institutions for negotiations, renewals, and documentation.

nn7. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

nEnsure timely and accurate filing of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory returns.

nHandle assessments, audits, and queries from tax and regulatory authorities.

nCoordinate with external consultants and statutory auditors.

nMonitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on impact and compliance.

Strategic Contribution & Leadership

nAct as a key financial advisor to the management on all major business decisions.

nParticipate in policy formulation, business planning, and strategic discussions.

nSupport in M&A; evaluation, capital investment planning, and product profitability analysis.

nBuild and mentor the finance and accounts team and develop a strong second line of leadership.

nnCandidate Profile:

nnEducational Qualification:

nQualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

nnExperience:

nMinimum 10 - 15 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounts, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

nStrong hands-on exposure to cost accounting, product costing, budgeting, and bank financing.

nExperience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally ERP, or similar platforms) is a must.

nProven ability to handle internal audits, finalisation of accounts, and cross-functional collaboration.

nnSkillset & Attributes:

nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

nHigh level of integrity, discipline, and self-motivation.

nStrong command over Excel, MS Office, ERP tools, and financial modeling.

nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills.

nAbility to work independently from a factory setup and drive financial discipline across departments.

nnPreferred Background:

nLocal candidates or those willing to relocate to the factory location permanently.

nMust be willing to work full-time from the factory premises (not a part-time or hybrid role).

nCandidate should be willing to sign a minimum 5-year employment agreement to ensure continuity, system stability, and long-term growth.
