Company Description Child Vision Foundation is a Mumbai-based, non-political, secular, registered non-profit organization actively serving the community since 2013. The foundation focuses on the upliftment of deprived individuals by addressing social, economic, and educational challenges through targeted programs and charitable initiatives. Its work includes public awareness on early symptoms, causes, effects, and prevention of cancer and other major diseases, as well as campaigns to stop tobacco consumption.
Child Vision
Foundation organizes awareness and fundraising activities in schools, colleges, corporates, government offices, hospitals, and public spaces to support the treatment, nutrition, education, and overall welfare of poor and orphaned children. Since its inception, the organization has reached hundreds of children across Mumbai and helped partner organizations grow significantly with management support, training, and access to additional funding.
Role Description The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide strategic leadership and overall direction for Child Vision Foundation, ensuring that the organization’s mission to support deprived children and promote health awareness is effectively delivered. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The CEO will oversee program design and implementation, fundraising initiatives, and partnerships with corporates, individual donors, and community-based organizations.
Daily responsibilities include managing operations,
supervising senior staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and monitoring the impact of awareness and outreach campaigns. The CEO will represent the organization with key stakeholders, develop long-term strategies for growth and sustainability, and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and community service.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including experience overseeing teams, budgets, and multi-faceted social impact programs.
- Fundraising and stakeholder engagement skills, such as donor relationship management, corporate partnerships, and grant development.
- Strategic planning and organizational development skills, including setting vision, defining goals, and driving sustainable growth.
- Community outreach and advocacy skills, with experience in public awareness campaigns, health education, or social sector initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organization to diverse audiences and build trust-based relationships.
- Experience in the non-profit or NGO sector, preferably in child welfare, public health, or education-focused organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Social Work, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work in office in Mumbai, adapt to field conditions, and collaborate with hospitals, schools, and community organizations.
